Your body doesn't lie - it keeps a score of your experiences in life. When you go through a difficult situation, it impacts more than just your thoughts, it gets stored in your body.
Many people were taught to suppress their emotions and be "strong".
So they might push the uncomfortable feelings away.
Or try to read a lot of personal development books and do the mindset work.
But here's the thing…
It is about feeling rather than remembering or thinking.
E-motion is simply energy in motion. It needs to move.
Your body is made to go through challenges in life, hence it has its own natural healing ability. However, if left alone, the disrupt of energy in the body can manifest itself in physical, mental and emotional issues, which can in turn affect your thoughts, behaviours, relationships and perception of the world. This manifestation may include chronic pain/tension, weak immune system, anxiety, as well as self-destructive behaviours and thought patterns.
What is Breathwork?
Rooted Breath is a method that uses integrative breathwork, to tap into your body's natural healing ability and accelerate the process through releasing what no longer serves you, move stagnant emotions, accessing inner safety, and coming back home to wholeness. Breathwork or breath therapy is a safe practice that helps to stimulate the vagus nerve, which in turn regulates our emotions.
When we are experiencing in a stressful situation and we panic with "how do I respond?", we can simply bring ourselves back to our body and the present moment using our breath and help us to feel more calm.
Hi, I'm Nathasya!
Founder of AKKU Holistic Health, Somatic Trauma Coach, Breathwork Facilitator, and the host of 'Resilient Chat with Nat' Podcast
For many years, I lived in fear and felt disconnected from my body due to trauma of sexual assault and emotional abuse that I was holding in. I thought that I was fine because what happened was in the past, but turned out, I was not okay. My immune system was weak but I thought: "it is what it is" and I just had to deal with it, despite the fact that I was eating pretty healthy & exercising. The way I behaved, acted, thought about life, and my relationships, went to a turmoil.
It wasn't until I went on a holistic healing path, where I discovered breathwork and somatic healing, was I able to truly feel safe again in my body, build resilience, and experience true transformation.
Since my own healing journey and after I set off on a mission to learn everything I could about healing trauma through an integrative approach, I founded Holistic Rewiring Method and Rooted Breath under AKKU Holistic Health. I now guide men and women around the world to release trauma through mind, body and soul connection, so they can finally be free and thrive in their life. I truly believe that we all have everything we need inside us, but sometimes we may need some guidance along the way.
"It was my first experience with breathwork and it broke me wide open. It was incredible. Thank you!"

The 4 elements that are typically used in a session to support the process of release and coming back to wholeness.
Depending on the area of focus, you will be guided to different breath patterns. This is the central of the practice that is designed to stimulate a charge in the body, releasing any tension and emotions, and stabilizing the nervous system.
Somatic movement exercises to open up the body and unlock the muscle fascia, allowing excess tension to melt away from the tissues. This include therapeutic slow movements and shaking, which help to accelerate the transformation process.
Mindful touch supports the movement of the energy in the body, letting go what needs to be released, as well as bringing in increased awareness to the body, mind, and soul. When you start paying attention to the specific area through touch, we can start addressing the feelings that come up in the present moment.
Sound is a great supportive tool for the sessions. It can have a beautiful effect to our nervous system. Sound is used in different ways in the private sessions or workshops with Nathasya, from vocalization, music recordings, and live music. It is used with the intention to invoke certain emotions and set the tone for the practice.
"Nathasya is amazing, she is truly present and pays attention and gets a clear and beautiful understanding of you. I went to her after had been feeling down for a while, I felt like I needed some shifts/awareness of something. I was crying a lot a couple of hours after I left meaning I was releasing a lot. I was integrating compassion and kindness towards myself. And learned to feel myself in, she showed me a better way to breathe. Her presence is amazing and truly healing."

Frequently Asked Questions
Is breathwork safe? > Yes, breathwork is a safe and effective process to release what no longer serves you. Although, if you have a particular medical condition, we always recommend to consult with your doctor first.
How do I know breathwork is suitable for me? > Breathwork may not be suitable for you if you have cardiovascular problems, high or abnormal blood pressure, epilepsy or history of seizures, anyone on heavy medication, severe psychiatric symptoms like psychosis or paranoia, bipolar depression, osteoporosis, recent surgery, glaucoma, pregnancy, active addiction, or severe PTSD. If you have or have had any of the listed conditions, we strongly recommend you consult a physician before beginning breathwork. Breathwork can be useful for people who have trauma, however, you would need to book the 1:1 breathwork session first rather than taking the self-paced course (21-day Breathwork Journey) first.
This is my first time. Do I need to have a special knowledge beforehand? > No, you don't. You will receive guidance on how to breathe through the diaphragm and how to do the breathing patterns.
